Beauty School Drop Out
Celebrating 65 Years Of Eylure
Eylure began as a partnership between make-up artists and costume designers David and Eric Aylott.
They made eyelashes as well as wigs, beards and moustaches for some of the biggest names in the film industry. Their lashes soon became popular with many leading ladies of that time including, Marlene Dietrich, Joan Collins, Ingrid Berman, Sophia Loren and Elizabeth Taylor who used them when she appeared in Cleopatra.
Their lashes became so popular with the film industry that in 1948 they decided to make them available for sale from retail shops.
By the 1960’s Eylure had established themselves as a must have item when it comes to false lashes.
To celebrate Eylure have launched their new collection of retro lashes featuring four different designs, Queen of Mod, The Chelsea Look, London Calling and Kings Road. Each lash is inspired by the beauty looks from the sixties pop culture, think Twiggy’s iconic eye look from the 1960s.
Now whenever you want, you too can achieve that 60s look without much effort at all.
Eylure 65th Anniversary Celebration Lashes (£5.25) are available to buy now.
