Mac Conner: A New York Life

If you’re a fan of Mad Men you would have loved Mac Conner: A New York Life.  

During the 1940s – 1960s illustrator McCauley (‘Mac’) Conner’s work helped to shape the image of post-war America.

His advertising and editorial illustrations appeared in magazines including Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping.  His clients included Ford, United Airlines and AT&T.

This exhibition featured more than 70 of his original artworks, reference photos, pastel sketches, final printed pieces and his collaborations with colleagues and clients.

Mac Conner is 101 and lives in New York.
