In celebration of 40 years of Punk, rockarchive.com founder and music photographer Jill Furmanovsky, opens her archives of Punk rock images for an exhibition at Barbican Music Library.

Memobrilla featured includes Jill’s unseen and well-known photographs of Punk images. You can see images of The Ramones, Buzzcocks, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Blondie, The Undertones, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Blondie, Iggy Pop and many more iconic bands.

“I am delighted to be showcasing ‘Chunk of Punk’ at the Barbican Music Library. I have been inspired to delve deep into my archives to celebrate the creative energy and inclusiveness of the Punk movement summed up by Mark P’s famous dictum, “If you can play three chords, you can form a band.” It is echoed by my own experience, “If you train for two weeks, you can be a photographer!”
