Milk Chocolate and Almond Afternoon Tea Cake 

When it comes to having an Afternoon Tea experience you can’t get more quintessentially British than the Ritz.

Their Afternoon Tea is served in the Palm Court, originally known as the Winter Garden, a room so luxurious and grandeur it features gleaming mirrors on high walls, statues, a birdcage chandeliers and stone fountain.

You’re sure to feel like you’re a star on a set of an old Hollywood movie.

Their menu features a selection of 16 loose leaf teas, traditional finger cut sandwiches, tea cakes, pastries and scones. In honour of Afternoon Tea week The Ritz are launching their new Milk Chocolate and Almond Afternoon Tea Cake. Made with milk chocolate mousse, almonds and salted caramel, you’re in for a real yummy treat. 

Literary Afternoon Tea Event

If you enjoy a little light reading with your tea make sure you pop in for a brew at the Conrad St James Literary Afternoon Tea event.

Rosie Millard will be talking about her new book, The Square, while you enjoy their Summer in the City Afternoon Tea Menu.

Historic Afternoon Tea

Ms Marmite Lover invites you to join her for a Georgian themed tea party set in Dennis Severs’ House, a historic 18th century home.

In keeping with the setting Ms Marmite Lover has been busy looking up menu ideas from old cookbooks and will be baking using historic recipes.

If you really want to get into the spirit of the theme why not get dressed up, you can find something from these costume hire shops: Artisan, Masquerade and Costume Boutique.
