Tell me about your tea company?
I offer tea party hosting and vintage crockery/props for hire. I run the tea rooms at a number of vintage fairs and markets in the South East.
Do you work alone or do you have staff?
My partner in crime is my Mum, Susan.
How did you come up with the name?
‘Terrence’ is the nickname that I gave my husband!
Do you bake your own cakes & cupcakes?
My Mum and I share the baking, but she’s the queen of making Victoria sponge cakes. They’re delicious!
How do you come up with the different menu ideas?
We usually take recommendations from family and friends.
If you could host a tea party during any decade what would it be?
I love hosting tea parties in the current decade as everyone I meet really appreciates my beautiful collection.
Name three entertainers past or present who you would invite to your tea party?
Victoria Beckham, Elvis Presley and Madonna.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
Meeting new people who have lovely comments about how good our cakes taste.
In all of the events you've done, what's been your favourite?
I love the National Vintage Wedding Fairs in Chiswick, as there’s always such a great buzz at the events.
Your business has been given a blank cheque, how would you spend it?
I would set up a vintage tea room somewhere in London.
